Editorial Policy

Al Safwa Law Firm for Advocacy and Legal Consultations in Jeddah is committed to making everything we publish on this website accurate, clear, and based on the laws currently in force in Saudi Arabia. This page explains how we write our content, who reviews it, where its information comes from, and when we update it.

Purpose of the content

The articles and pages published here are for general legal awareness. They explain procedures, rights, and deadlines as set out in Saudi laws and regulations. They are not legal advice for a specific case, and reading them does not create a lawyer–client relationship. To have your situation assessed, contact a licensed lawyer.

Who writes the content

Our content is written by members of the firm’s legal team. The author’s name appears at the top of each article with a link to their profile. Our writers include:

Legal review

Licensed lawyer Hussain Aldadi, the firm’s manager, reviews legal content before it is published and whenever it is updated. Each article shows a “legally reviewed by” note with the date of the last legal review, along with the date the article was last updated.

Sources of information

We rely on official sources first and place a link to the source next to the information it supports. These include:

  • The Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers (texts of laws and regulations).
  • The Ministry of Justice, its Laws Portal, and the Najiz platform.
  • The government authority responsible for the article’s subject, such as the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Public Prosecution, or the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.

We do not cite a legal article, ruling, fee, or deadline until we have verified it from its official source. If we cannot find an official source for a piece of information, we do not publish it, or we state that it varies from case to case.

Writing rules

  • We clearly separate what the law says from explanation or practical opinion.
  • We do not promise the outcome of any case, and we avoid wording that suggests a guaranteed ruling.
  • We do not describe the firm as “the best” or “the first”. Instead, we give readers clear criteria for choosing the right lawyer.
  • We do not publish prices unless they match the approved prices in the firm’s online store.
  • We respect client privacy and never publish details that could identify anyone.

Use of AI tools

We use AI tools to help draft and organize content. Every text is reviewed by a member of our legal team before publication, who checks the legal articles and sources personally. No legal content is published without this human review.

Updating content

We review articles that depend on laws subject to amendment at least every six months, and immediately when a new law is issued or an existing one is amended. When we update an article, we change the “last updated” date shown on it.

Errors and corrections

If you notice an error in any published information, please let us know. Our Corrections Policy explains how to report it, how long the review takes, and where corrections are logged.
